I want some imput on what to do with it and if I should get headers or not. But, I thought it would be better for me to show you it first. I don't know if it is actually the whole flowmaster set up, or just the muffler. I can't tell. All I have done is removed the cat and replaced it with the more shiny pipe you will see. I'm thinking about getting some coated LT pacesetter with a Y-pipe. Will those bolt right on with the current exhaust I have now? Or, should I do something else with my exhaust first? Thanks.

So, what do you guys think? I know the camera angle is kind of awkward, but you can actually see everything as I move around everywhere.

If you guys could give me your opinion that would be great. I'm thinking about buying these coated pacesetter Lt's, but I need to know if I should get them with my current exhaust?

That looks like stock exhaust piping to me. . .

Your going to have to get a Y pipe to hook up your headers to your exhaust.

I say get them......I like my pacesetter longtubes and they were a fairly easy install. Make sure and get a pacesetter Y-pipe as well. If you are concerned about your catback being too restrictive, then have an exhaust cutout welded in right after the y-pipe ends (thats what I did, noticeable improvement over my hooker catback) If you don't have emissions then get the "drag race only" coated longtubes and delete your air and egr crap.

Yeah, i'm getting the matching Y-pipe also. I think I should be fine with the Y-pipe hooking up to my current exhaust. What do you guys think, about a 10hp gain? Not only that, it will look a lot better and sound better to I would think.

Yep, that's just a Flowmaster 80 series muffler welded in using the stock tailpipes and tips as far as I can see...The I-pipe also looks stock to me...

Now, can you actually put up a nice video of some warm idling and hard revs thrown in? I collect LT1 sounds clips, but don't really have any good ones of Flowmaster on stockish cars...

Thanks,

Mike

Well, I better do that soon because I'm getting those Lt headers. The car should sound a little more opened up after that. Do you guys think I should modify my cat-back after the headers and Y? I personally think it will be ok for now.
