Some buddies of mine tell me not to get 4.10's.. and get 4.11's.

They say they are much stronger???

You can get the 4:11's on the 12 bolt and 9inch if im not mistaken . I dont think they are offered on the 10 bolt stock rear end. I have the 4:10 on my factory rear end.

That would be why they would say they are stronger.

My friend has 4.11's in his stock 10 bolt. They came with the car though, I think the guy said he got them from summit.

I always thought 4.11's were the Ford ratio, so the 9" rears would have the 4.11 while the 12 or 10 bolt would have 4.10. The 9" is stronger then the 12 bolt.

I thought that too until my friend got his car. I think summit is the only place you can get 4.11's for a 10 bolt. I can't see there being and difference in them though.
