Ehhh lt1 Camaro's are lighter than ls1 Camaro's, not the motor but the entire car. Look it up , I am over this topic it gets brought up so much. LS1 is faster and better in stock form.

I own and love my lt4 based Camaro!

LS1 = more hp (not by THAT much)
LT1 = more tq (some cases by a lot at lower rpm)

Thats a common misconception. LS1s actually have MORE peak torque than an LT1 (due to better head flow obviously and the slightly longer stroke). LT1 peak torque occurs lower in the power band however giving a more SOTP feel than an LS1.

Good lord here we go:
If you plan on pulling a trailer get a LT1
If you plan on pulling Vipers get a LS1.
There it is now settled.

By the way I have owned both and the LT1 felt faster than the LS1 stock for stock. But in reality the LS1 was a little over half a second faster.

We weren't even talking about that. We were talking about the "look" of a 98-02 Camaro. It looks like a catfish. (Which isn't a bad thing) By the way, no need to be sarcastic. (About the trailer deal) Do it somewhere else, no one wants to be put down in anyway. If you don't have anything good to say, don't share. Thanks

It's not like LS1's can pull on an 11 second car with just little bolt ons. Half the people with our cars don't even mod them. This makes up like 2% of the whole population.

Your sig says your ls1 runs 12.60 with a stock motor? What bolt ons does your car have , does it have lt headers tb exhuast ?Those are strong numbers for even a STOCK!ls1.

And I'm calling totally bullshit on you running a 12.6 on a totally stock 99 A4 Z28. Go troll somewhere else please.

Firehawks barely run a 12.6 STOCK. I'm sure you have full bolt ons. Show us your time slip. I see MOST M6 WS6's get at least a 13.3 if it's a factory freak and NORMAL 13.5-6.

Yeah, there is no way your A4 Z28 ran a 12.6 all stock. I drove one and we all know that wouldn't happen. So, how much do you have done? Stall, full bolt ons?
