Default taking out the LT1

when i am taking the elctrical out of the car where should it be disconected at the computer? i see that there is a cable running through the firewall and i dont know where it goes to to disconect it and the whole harness can i just leave it connected and lower the comp. out of the car too or is there wires in the harness that are elsewhere on the firewall or anything that must be disconnected please let me know soon i am trying to get it out now.

there are no wires on the fire wall that have to be disconnected. The ECU dosn't even have to be unpluged, you can leave it right were it is for now. Just make sure ALL the wires on the engine are disconnected. You should be able to pull the harness out of the way after you start to get it undone. Watch for the ground wires on the pass side of the block. I missed those the first time I did mine.

If you remove the kicker panel on the passenger side there is like three plugs that can dicconected then pulled though the firewall and the whole wiring harness can come out with the engine.
