if you have a budget then why even consider the Kooks?
you are comparing bottom of the barrel too top of the barrel headers ($400 vs. $800)

whats wrong with Hookers or Jet-hots?

ever considered mid length headers like AS&M?

Here's my full opinoin, the pacesetters are very well made, the clearance on the is awesome but I have a huge problem right now with them hitting the steering shaft, the kooks are amazing well made good clearance and a great fit, performance wise I have no idea because my ta(pacesetters falls on its face when you floor due to knock retard caused by lt's hitting steering shaft).
To be honest I spend the extra on kooks not just because of my problem( I know it's fixable), but kooks(stainless) will last much longer and look much better for longer than pacesetters(coated)

Kook's are worth it IMO in the long run. Since they're stainless they won't rust unlike the pacesetters. So in time you'll be replacing your pacesetters.

Do a search quite a few peolple have had a problem with the pacesetters hitting, also ceramic coating wears off, I've seen people's coated headers start rusting within 6 months of getting them, it just depends on the quality of the coating job.

All non-stainless headers rust, coated or not. Coating burns/flakes off, even jethot. In time depends on how well you keep the headers clean. I've had mine about 6-7 months and they still look brand new.

Friend of mine has had his for 2 years and they look like absolute crap. Keep in mind we're in the Salt belt too. Both of our cars are daily driven.

They wont rust as in rust through, and you leak.. they'll just get surface rust. Pacesetters are not stainless. Only company that sells stainless is Kook's.

They're not going to rust so bad to the point they leak. (This will be the 3rd time saying this now)

I bought pacesetter because It cost $470 shipped for the longtubs and ypipe. I can deal with rust.

Not being an ***, trying to get the point you obviously lack the intelligence to see. I never once said they will rust to the point of leaking. Yet you still say that.

I'm not dissing on a set of headers I only paid $470 for (including shipping and ypipe).
