Default Cant make up my mind!!

I have posted this before but.... I am getting a loan and will have 5 grand to put in the car. I have known I'm getting this loan for about a month now and had it planned out.

100 shot, sub frames, tires, plugs, plug wires, U.D. pulley, gears, stall, and maybe a hotcam or something like it.

Anyway, I have been hearing alot about Lloyd Elliot and checked out his site. Now I REALLY want that LE2 package. The package is 1,600 plus I need the injectors, T.B., and the valve train upgrades. So I'm now thinking something along those lines. The LE2 package with required parts, a stall and gears. I just don't know.

I always heard about problems with modding cars, but damn nobody ever told me too many options is going to be a big one!

So I guess I am just looking for suggestions, as I always am. What would YOU do? Or would you do something different? By the way, to make this easier, my goal for this build is quite simply, a 7.5 in the 8th. As long as I get that, I'm happy. 'Course, the faster the better.

Even if you went with the LE2 you still need all the mods listed, well maybe not the juice. 7.5 in the 1/8 is like high 11s so thats not too far away with LE2 and the right supporting mods.

What steps did you take to get the loan? I thought about the same thing to be honest with you. What did you tell them it was for, and what bank did you use? You can PM me for the details as I'm highly interested in what some of the qualifications are.

I noticed a little bit of a difference with my UD pulleys. Not huge, but when my air was off I could tell a difference. (Maybe like 3-5rwhp) I'm a freak, so I notice anything little...UD pulleys would be more of a gain than an air foil, or even a TB bypass. (I would think) My friends TB bypass did absolutly nothing. I have heard no gains from the air foil as well. So, I don't know.

I'm saving for the LE2 package myself, so I'd suggest buying all the mods that Mr. Elliott says should go along with it (TB, injectors, LTs, etc.).

Sub-frame connectors are another mod that is worth the money. My 92 convertible was like a brand new car after having those installed. The handling and feel of the car is greatly improved, whether you drive it hard or not.

Sway bars, sub frams, LCA's, K member, torque arm, panhard rods. Those are all good suspension mods.

I myself would go with the LE2 with all those supporting mods. That would be a good starting point for anything. But if you do go that route, keep in mind that to get that power to the ground you are going to need some supporting suspension mods. Then also remember that after you do get that power to the ground, soon after you will probably need a rear.

Believe me what starts out as something small can turn into lots more. The snowball effect, its gotten me everytime.

Lloyd know's what he is talking about, he's not just some salesman, talk to him over the phone if you can, I did I while back. He's just an awesome guy, and he will take care of you in any way that he can. I regret going to an LS1 becuase I wanted to give him my business, so when I buy another LT1 car, I know who I'm talking too first. Talk to Lloyd and ask him what he suggests to go with the LE2 package, he's an honest guy and he will give you an honest answer.
