True Duals?
So those of you with true duals.
What do you think of them?
Is the ground clearence a problem?
Is it really worth the extra problems?
I have been talked into Long tubes and I am thinking about hooker cat back
Only I am questioning True duals with Texas Speed duals
Let me know if its worth it?
Thanks anyone that posts

i really dont know. the prices for exhaust work, ive noticed, have been cheaper in the south than the north. i dont know what your town would charge. best thing to do would be to call your local exhaust shop.

I highly recommend Summits X-pipe kit and a set of Dynomax Bullets. No ground clearence problems and the sound is unreal. Costs around $100 for the kit plus 70 for the bullets. Then install was around $150, I think.

I love my true duals. They are 2 1/2" no crossover pipe, with sweet thunder mufflers. It gives these LT1s that bad azz old school muscle sound.
BUt........ remember the car wasn't plumbed for true duals, so you won't have much ground clearance. Some people don't like driving real slow over big bumps, dips, and speed bumps. You have to remember you have and addition 2-3 inches sticking under the car now. It don't bother me much. But I just like to warn people before hand.
If your not doing the work your self, or your not using band clamps, then make sure you take it to a well known exhaust shop. Don't take it to some shop who always does mufflers. Cause you possibly will become a frequent visitor of that shop. Find a shop that does custom exhaust all the time, they may charge ya more, but you will have less head aches.
Here is a vid of what mine sounds like going down the 1/4 mile http://www.v8havoc.com/vidz/mike_trueduals.wmv

what is the cam(specs) in your car and what does that exhaust consist of it sounds sick!
and what if anthing do you have to do to put in headers and duels...computer, fuel, re-routing, O2 sensors, etc... how much would a complete system cost and are headers a headache to dodeal with all the time?

Thanks man, the cam is a custome BRE cam, 23X on the intake and exhaust, right around .600 lift, on a 110 LSA plus or minus a few
My exhaust consists of Jet Hot LT's, H-pipe, with dynomax bullets.
