Delteq Optispark "Eliminator"
Anybody done this with a Delteq?
But you guys are alittle misslead. With the delteq you still need to keep your opti. Because it needs to send the signal to the pcm and icm to tell the coil packs when to fire. So you can actually remove the cap and rotor from your opti.
Delteq has not released their stage 2 yet. And trust me guys, the optical sensor on the opti isnt the problem with the opti. The cap and rotor is the main reason why opti's fail. Most folks don't replace their till theirs crap out, and corriosion ends up building up, and can even attack the the metal wheel that the optical sensor reads. So once you move to the delteq you eliminate the main cause of opti failures.
They would have to design somthing similar to a crank trigger of some type to get eliminate the opti completly. And I really don't know how the heck they are going to be able to send a low res and high res signal from a device like that. Since most the time you goto a crank trigger system, you run a diffent ecu.
If you feel your opti is going out. Or just want some insurance. Replace the opti and get the delteq and LTCC. It is worth evrey single penny.

i would, and will when i get the money, go for the delteq. the LTCC has some nice features but is way too expensive since you have to buy 8 LS-1 coils that are not inclued to make that kit work. here are some links to both kits
