Why, most shops really into building the 200 and 700 lines rate their max effort trannies at the same 800hp and with this one you might gain better ratios but will lose pcm control.

bottom line, better gearing. (better 1st gear, less rpm drop from 1-2 shift, better OD with my 4.10's for the 90mile drive to the track)
i could care less about pcm control.

i've got a local shop that builds stout auto trannies cheaper then any shops i've found online. and well they are local, you cant beat that

have thought about the 200r..a lot of Grand National guys use them.

yeah lol, thats because they came in those cars from the factory
alot of places charge an arm and a leg too build them but when done right, they are awesome trans'
they can hold up well too the 3600+lb G-bodies when built right

If your looking for a nice 200 theres a guy on turbobuick.com that sell a sweet one. Holds up to my 18psi launches. Price on them are right at 1200 and thats with a trans brake. Guys name on the forum is Brian
