My brother just bought a 351 Windsor it was carb but efi now and has a 427 stroker kit on the way for his 94 thunder-bird. After that the roots blower is going on it. What i need to know it what would be a good setup to go with turbo and a lt1. The 1st thing i was going to do was upgrade the fuel system to add some hp. I was thinking 383 or 396. What do you suggest. I would be putting this in my 97 trans am. Or should i just start out with a ls1. I love the lt1 though. But from what i heard the ls1 responds better to mods. Would it cost alot to keep up with this engine? any guesses on what power range he will be in?

383's a lot cheaper. Your call on if the added expense is worth 13 more cubes or not. If your going F/I I would want to keep the stroke down some to keep piston speeds down, but that's just me.
Yes its going to cost a lot to do any F/I setup right.

Yes, it is going to cost some money to keep up with that PROVIDED he can keep traction with all that torque down low.... Figure that you will need atleast $8K to make a good boosted motor that is capable of doing the kind of power he will have.
