How were you banging the rev limiter in 3rd with 2.73's in the 1/4? With 4.10's and a 3500 stall, Im going through the traps at 111 mph and 6300rpm in 3rd. At 5700 rpm with the 2.73's, your speed would be close to 160mph, lol.

Ahhhh, ok. That makes more sense. What mods have you done since the 14.1.....the stall, shiftkit and trans cooler? What kind of trap speed were you running with the 14.1? I personally think that the 3500 is too much stall for a car with the mods that you have. If you plan on modding it more in the future and are just getting the big stall for then, its ok but if you plan on staying at the level youre at for a while, I think its too much. You should be close to some mid 13's with all that stuff but the stock exhaust manifolds and 2.73's arent gonna help you at all.

my trap speed was 98mph, and yes i do planning on doing a small head cam package and midlenth headers, but before that it will be getting a 12 bolt with 3.73s. i just want a quick street car that will go to the track every now and then, and also it has to stay emissions legal. and i havent done anything since the 14.1, tranny completly went out shortly after. and u mean with the stock manifolds and 2.73 gear i wont see now gain at all??

you'll see a nice gain by adding the converter regardless, but you will need some nice sticky drag radials to see them. I think mid 13's would definately be attainable with some drag radials, but if your hitting the rev limiter than something isn't right.

I'm at 13.88 with just intake and catback not to mention oooooooold plugs with little spark left so you should be right in that area with the mods you have.

shortly after hitting the rev limiter all of second gear went out so it is now in the shop getting that fixed plus the shift kit and stall and cooler so it shouldnt do that now and if it does right back to the shop it goes with them fixing it for free. i love warrantys.

the converter should give u about .4. Sticky tires are gonna be a necessity however, and then you could see about .5-.6 from it.

With the stall converter, traction will be a problem.

Traction won't be a problem if he is light on it. At the track, yes it will be a problem. You can expect a 3200-3500 stall to knock you off .5-.7 off your e/t's, and with some sticky tires and some gears, expect at the most a full second.

I run a 13.4@103.57 with BFG KDWS which don't hook good, on a non prepped track. With mild bolt ons, and I have an A4.

mids 13 will be easy.....was my LT1 extra quick? it was an Auto 94 Firehawk. Only mods were factory SLP TOTL exhaust and intake. bone stock except for those things. i went 13.66 @ 103mph 1.98 60FT. Dynoed 246 RWHP and 292 RWTQ with those mods.

Quick Reply: mid 13s maybe??
