Whats wrong with that? Maybe he just has a really cool mom, or he just doesnt have the money now and his moms letting him pay her back.

When it comes to cai's it doesnt really matter what brand you get, they all do the same thing, so get somthing cheap. LPE is good quality, easy to install and cheap. A good choice.

personally(and this is just my opinion), if you have to borrow money to buy a none essential part(like something needed to make it run) because you don't have the money for it, you really should not buy it. its not good to spend money you don't have, or your last dollar. if shes getting it as gift, good to see parents getting envovled with thier child's intrest.
besides, some of these intake tubes cost close to a set of 1.6 RR

17 and 3 months WTF?!? oh... right, forgot how important that 3 months experiance of being 17 greatly improves your ability to write checks and use an atm card.

I like your car collection Wicked_Hugger99, they all sound sick.
Seems that people get the K&N FIPK, but I want be somewhat different and stick with the LPE CAI, plus it's cheaper. Their all pretty much to same.

hey, long story short- i totalled my 97 z28, and i pulled the cai off the car before the insurance takes it. I bought the car used with the cai already on it. The guy i got it from said the guy he got it from said it was lingenfelter. My question is: should it have 2 folds in the lower side of the "L" shape facing the ground? There is a 3-4" long dent on both sides. I didnt know if this was caused from the wreck or if its supposed to be like that beacause of a tight fit in the engine compartment, etc. The front end is smashed so i cant tell how its supposed to fit. Im worried if the wreck caused the creases/dents they might slow down air a bit. thanks for any help or answers.
