should I trade LS1 car for LT1 car?
Some one wants to swap his moded LT1 94 with my LS1 99. The diff. will be around $6700. His mods are (headers + y pipe + stock cat back + rocker +piston + cam + ratio 3.73 + cultch ram) maybe that are all. What do you think?

I have an LT1 but i'm swapping up for a reason... There is a reason why he wants your car... The LS1 has some huge advantages over the LT1. but your not just talking motor. Personally I think the late 4th gens also look better. Thats why I converted my car to one. I just wouldn't do it. I think you will be greatly disappointed...
Have you ever raced him?

I would do it, if the car had low miles and he gave you a lot of $$$. Other than that, it's not worth it. I say about 2500 on top of the trade. This is assuming his car is in perfect running condition. If not, don't do it. To me, it seems like a quick way to make some cash. I like the LT1 look, but the LS1 has more potential hands down...It really just depends on if you plan on modding the vehicle any more. Also, I would bet his car has worse gas mileage. (something else to think about)

keep the ls1 esp if you plan on having only boltons, just like the old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. if your ls1 is in good running condition why would you want to get rid of it?

That car's power is proabably severely crippled by backpressure.
