Well with shorts, cc305, a fresh rebuild motor, and a half-*** tune. I pulled 342/349 to the wheels. And my best in the 1/8 is 8.0 at 86.

Auto or 6spd? With a mildly set of ported heads and cc305 and full exhaust I ran a 12.9 @108,auto.

I ran a 12.44 @ 106 with the cc305, stock heads, and MAC midlength headers. This is with a stalled auto though. It dynoed 289rwhp and 312rwtq untuned.

Thanks. The main advantage that I had was the headers. Stock mainfolds suck bigtime for flow. That and a good tune should be one of the first things Id look to get.

I am getting ready to install a cc305 next weekend. I am hoping that it will liven up the car a lot. I am going to use this cam with 125 shot of NOS. Anxious to see what kind of times I will be able to get with her.

You should be fine with mailorder. Im using PCMforLess and they have gotten my tunes dead on the 3 times Ive dealt with them. Plus, your setup isnt going to be all that radical and abnormal so Im sure theyve done the same setup or something similar enough to get yours right.

MC Racing can and does tune LT1's.

With that setup though, you could probably get a Madwolf tune, or try your luck with PCM4Less.

I have a 305 cam also. With a full bultons, M6, and every syspension upgrade possible. I was able to go mid 12s at 112mph. I currently swaped to a th350 and this weekend am look in to put it into the 11s. This cam really works well with stock heads in my opinion.

with the CC305 do you still retain a lot of low end torque i have an M6 with 3.42's in the rear and dont really want to go to 3.73's unless i have to, if i go with this cam i plan to do some LT's at the same time and already have slp intake and hooker catback are the gains from this cam pretty noticable?

I dont know anyone personally that has put a cam in their f-body and complained about low end losses. I know I didnt lose anything.

ya but there very very expenisve and not worth it on a small cam. Im sure a PCM4less tune would be almost if not dead on

low and especially midrange rpms is where this cam makes it's torque. you will love it.
