Default 160 Degree thermo too low for winter??

I have a 94 Z that's bone stock with a 160 thermo in it. I wasn't getting any heat so I flushed the system and now I have heat but if I turn on the blower on high for some time it will cool back down. Would you reconmend going to a 180 degree thermo. The only thing I have a Jet Hot fan switch that kicks on both fans at 200 and shuts off at 185 so I think the fans will constantly be on unless I unhook it and go back to stock settings which is for winter only.

I have a 160* t-stat for my car and I don't have any problems with heat in the winter time.

If you weren't getting heat, then did a flush and now you are, then your heater core was probably clogged and im sure it still is a little bit.
