In addition to unplugging it, I went through all the retard tables and just set all parameters to 0. Run the communicator to verify there's no knock. I ran it to double check myself and I missed a table or two.

Well, I decided against turning the knock sensor off, and finally got the old sensor out. I had to warm up the car, soak the sensor with pb blaster, and use a cheater pipe to get the thing loose. Anyway thanks for all the help, as I will be needing tuning advise in the near future since my new tunercat program will be here this week. Headed to the track this morning, so wish me a new best.
