This is absolutely true. Your goals sound as though they may exceed your pocketbook at the moment.

OK. How much DO you have to spend? Some reality parameters need to be established, unless mental masturbation is what you're after.

ok true... basics... looking at $2000 or so for heads.... another $1700 for forged bottom end. Injectors (about $400), pcm tuning (mailorder for now.. $200), throttlebody($300-400 range), intake($300 er so), fuel pump(whatever it cost.. dont care), cam kit(umm..$500 or so). Then block work. I'll have a little Over $6000 there.

This is what im allowing my self to spend on those parts.. lol. No more than $8000 (hopefully) on just the motor. This aint including exhaust and such... but that is for another day. Lets get basics out of the way.

The blower/turbo is what is going to kick me in the nuts though. This is what i really am worried about affording.

But now i need suggestions.. someone experienced to lead me in a good direction.

Boost means look into a fully prepped block, 4 bolt billet main caps. 4340 Forged Crank, H beams and a good 2618 forged piston.

I'd run a set of aftermarket heads like a TFS or AFR just for the thick decks and bigger chambers.... I just did a 355 turbo motor with a 76cc AFR head and a flat top piston, worked out perfect.

alright... getting down to buisness here.. Someone else said the 2 bolt main will hold up. Cause the first thing i said was 4 bolt main. How much is that going to cost to have my block converted?

I was looking for a place that had good stuff for the LT1 and this is the best i have found yet...

Basicly they will get me what i need.Im thinking $1700 will cover what you listed (for rotating assebly) pretty easily.

Also... with me looking to push 15 psi of boost... what should i be looking for FI wise?

and i was looking at these heads... opinions?
