Default got a baseline dyno done today

well i had my car dynoed today it put down 270.9 hp and 314.4 ft/lbs of torque which i think is pretty good considering all i have is catback and slp intake and these cars were only rated at 275 at the crank from the factory

tell me what you guys think im gonna work on posting the dyno sheet

let the modding begin!

Dynojet or mustang dyno those numbers seem pretty high for being almost stock.

it was a dynojet dyno

yeah i know those are some pretty decent numbers it's always been a really strong runner the stock ls1's cant really pull more than a car on me before 100 mph and now that i finally got a dyno done i kind of know why

its also through a m6 so that makes them a little better too

Good numbers. and 270 is not high for stock? My 96 m6 with 14K miles threw down 285 and 311 with an slp catback only...car also ran 13.52 trapping 104.2

Yea thats what i was thinking. All my friends traps are low. In like 200 passes all together. Out of 3 LT1s 1 of us it 100.01

I think the problem with your trap speed and ET is your elevation. 2700+' right? Thats not bad for such a high track.

Back in the day, mine put down 283/321 at the wheels w/ a CAI and one of those "restrictive" Flowmaster cat-backs.

Oh yeah, wanna talk about elevation, I used to live in Tacoma, WA. then moved down here to Albuquerque. I lost a little over a second in E.T. and 6 mph in trap speed. So I went down to the local dyno here and confirmed a 54 hp and 64 lb ft. of torque loss at the wheels. I've since done a Hotcam and an electric water pump and I'm STILL almost 30 hp short of what I used to make at the wheels near sea-level.
