Talking Delteq or Opti Spark

I am a newbie with GM stuff since I decided to get a real car and sell my Mustang.I now have a 1997 T/A that I am much happier with. My only problem is I am looking to do a tune up soon and I was wondering if I should wait till MSD comes out with the Optispark replacement or should I go with Delteq and get rid of the Optispark. I was considering getting the Delteq set up but I would like you guys advise. Any feedback and advise would be much appeciated . Thanks

How many miles are on the car? Does it still have the stock opti?

Does the opti in the car work now?

If yes, why upgrade it until there is a problem?

The opti goes bad for a lot of people but lasts a long time for others.
