Cheapest lt4 intake?
Cheapest lt4 intake? Well thanks to my lack of patients I need to buy a lt4 intake since I do not want to take mine off and be down. I need to port match mine to the 58mm TB and Heads. So list your source and price so I can see what the best deal is. I got mine for about $240 if I recall right? Any help would be great.
That is about the cheapest price I found for an LT4 intake when I was looking for one. Have you checked Ebay to see if you could find one? Have you bought your heads yet for you're new setup? I have some AFR LT4 210 Bare Castings coming in sometime this month that I decided not to use this month. I'll keep an eye out for the intake in the mean time 
My car is a 396 with lt4 heads and intake but I never port matched my intake. Now I want to and do not want the down time. Ebay only has lt1 intakes painted red, lol! I have been looking for some time now and was hoping somebody would know of a cheaper source?
Might add the b-body forums to your search sometimes they pop up one guy was going to swap out LT4s for ported heads and cam if he posts his stuff for sale I will point him your way.
I know you guys are aware of this but it it is probably still good to mention that the LT4 intake is not an upgrade for an LT1.

My next stop after here was the Impala forum and someone just posted one for trade that has been modified to work with LT1 heads 
(see why I had to make the comments I did?). He wants some b-body specific stuff in particular but I asked if he would sell will post back once he answers.
