Okay, I am planning my motor, and I also have my hands in a few other engine builds and have some questions regarding head flow and cam specs. At what point (head flow cfm) or lift number (where the cfm is determined) can one make the decision for how much lift/duration/overlap a cam should have? Are these things even related? I figured they should be, but while the physics DO make sense to me, getting a number for lift numbers is confusing the crap out of me. Any help from some of the minds on this board?
