OBD-II Owns!
I passed Illinois EPA emissions today
My 97 Formula is catless, no AIR Pump, No Egr. It all fell off one day somehow....... aww shucks! :p
It wouldn't pass the OBD-II readyness tests. So I took it to one of the bad *** local speed shops here and their tuner worked some pcm magic. Big props goes out to them. If you guys need info feel free to PM me.
Just wanted to share the good news to my LT1 OBD-II brothers and sisters out there. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks man!
Hey they do a visual inspection of the cars in NJ? Or is that only incertain areas?
Dude what does your car run. I haven't seen many folks who have went with the edelbrock heads. I'm intrested to hear what kind of power your making on those heads and that cam, on motor. Unless you got some time slips. Bad *** car dude!

Yup, I also have a OBD-I pcm that I run in the car with a bolt-on tune. The tuning cost alot less so thats why I run it. But I keep the OBD-II pcm around for situations like above.

They would normally do a visual inspection, but I went to a local place that the guy just plugged it in. He did make a face when the car was idling and stinking the face up, but I was relieved when he went and slapped the new sticker on. Only prob was he put it on a little crooked lol. Oh well. Thats a small price to pay.
I'm making a little over 370rwhp right now w/o juice and not all the bolt-ons (still running stock water pump & stock ram air with a drop in K&N filter). I got the heads new for a ridiculously great price, but they will be coming off hopefully sometime soon to get them ported/polished to push me higher. Maybe a diff cam too. I'm still in college so money is tight right now. Gonna get to the track this spring to see what she can do. I mainly purchased the heads so I have a nice fresh set to play with when the time for porting comes. I'm happy with the power, but I know much more is out there.
