He must be smokin somethin. You can (as you have already figured out) reflash the computer. It will run richer with the LT4 injectors and stock tuning. The LT4 SLP Firehawks had stock LT1 tuning and the LT1 injectors. They ran just fine. I have tuned 4 or 5 of those that I can remember off the top of my head. Injectors are not a problem. The knock sensor is different. With a '94 computer, I would install your original (or a new stock) knock sensor.

Good luck, Ed

You can just get a mail-order tune for it, as long as you know everything about the motor.

About the LT4 stuff, I installed a LT4 Knock Mogule in my computer. Doesnt that help the sensitivity of the computer?

No the Lt4 Knock Module only helps in regards to determining true knock..

ok so all i have to do to not have to reflash the computer right away is run my injectors? and the guy said that bcuz it has a different throttle body that it needs redone for that? i have never heard of having to do that but i could be wrong.

Use your original throttle body, knock sensor and injectors, and you can drive it with no tuning. There is a little more power there with tuning. The Lt4 knock module lessens sensitibity to knock, but since it is desinged for a 1996 PCM and sensor, it is not the proper way to go. Just a band aid to cut back on knock retard. That sort of thing is best done in the tuning, using the correct knock sensor and knock module for the OBD1 PCM.

Good luck, Ed

i have lt4 crap on my car and b4 i bought it the guy had an lt4 hotcam in it, not so impressive, im recommend, if you can afford it, to get a larger cam.

www.cammotion.com is a great site to get a cam recommendation and they ship in just a couple days.
