Man those heads look sick, I cant wait to see you post up some numbers, at first glance I too thought that you posted up a LT5 pictures, but after scrolling down more I saw the old iron of the LT1. But anyways cool project.
A couple years back I heard of a guy in california that was running some 4 valve head off of a euro 4 banger or something and he made them fit on a SBC, the cams were run off of belts coming from the crank, it was crazy looking. I dont remember where I saw it though

The other heads are Infinity heads since they have a pretty similar bore spacing to a SBC.

16 pushrods or 32 lifters bumped by 4 cams, it doesnt matter...32 valves is 32 valves, they open and close at the same time, or do you know that...i mean you obviously must, and must have made a mistake, cuz you seem to know everything about everything
i dont get the hemi comment either? if your refering to how the head is shaped...well duh, you have to have a hemispherical chamber to fit 4 valves...or are you talking about the spark plug placement...cuz again, duh.
and if your saying im incompotent cuz i was talkin bout secondaries...it just sounds like your gonna carb it.

Hemis dont have more than two valves per cylinder, on street cars anyways. the amount of room neccessary to accomodate 4 valves in a hemi head is very large.

The number of valves has nothing to do with the "low end TQ" you freaking squirrell.
And BTW 32valves don't all open and close at the same time or the MOTOR WOULDN'T RUN IN A 4 STROKE CYCLE, but oh YOUR BAD I mean we all know what you mean.
Go slap a APC or NOPI sticker on your car and see what that gets you at the track.
For everyone else, sorry but I feel dumber enough reading the net most days, now this guy has to get on here and act like a moron. This guy just needs his account closed until he grows up.

grow up and finish your project.
**each set of intake/exhaust valves per cyl open and close at the same time.

Bobby, whats up mang! I saw that you were just wrapping things up with the engine management system. What's the latest?

I just moved the car to my friend's place so the only thing we are waiting on now is what kind of fuel management I want to use. I was talking to Madman about something new that is in the works so I'm just gonna be patient for now. I'm also going to rewire the stock harness since the one that came on the car was pretty mangled and hacked up and it would just be nice to start from scratch with the wiring. But thats it...Everything else is completely done and ready to go.
Like SStrokerAce said this isn't for the timid and it's been a long road. I'm still curious to see if this thing does what we think it will do for any length of time

Anybody who thinks that 4v motors "lack torque" isn't very knowledgable about engines. Ford 4v heads aren't the problem...its that they're only covering small bore 4.6 liters shortlbocks that IS. Not to say every 4v head flows more than 2v at low and midlift, but with equal amounts of engineering skill at the onset of a clean-sheet-of-paper head design, a 4v is superior.
When this thing prints a dyno graph, post the intake valve closing point, compression ratio, and cubic inch..then we'll compare that to a similar 2v motor....ls1,2,6,7 included. Maybe a lt5 zr1 motor from Doug Rippie or Lingenfelter as well.
As for this project, VERY cool. Nice to see someone doing something different. Theres something to be said for someone who fabricates and designs their own engine versus buying cookie cutter parts off the shelf.
