Default 32valve LT1 Progress...

I ran into some issues with the stock LT1 headgaskets so I had to have a custom set made. They ended up turning out pretty damn nice and showed up at the shop yesterday so we put the heads on last night. I figured you guys would like to see some teaser pics. Wow...talk about a long time coming....

I'm still waiting on my set of Morel lifters and then we'll order pushrods and seal the deal on this project. Stay tuned...

Do they still make those heads? Can you use the stock head style manifolds on them or do you have to get custom ones? Also do you have to modify the intake? The other thing I don't understand is the cam and how it opens all four, seems like the connection wouldn't be that strong. I'm just rambling though. Also the pictures are not working. For me only I guess.

I'm not real sure if you can actually get a set of these anymore to be honest. They are still advertised on the manf.'s website: Arao Engineering.

For the exhaust you will have to have custom headers made. These heads use the Stahl pattern flanges so nothing stock would work.

I originally used a stock LT1 intake and modified the living crap out of it but some jackass stole it from the shop. After I saw some of the numbers guys were putting down naturally aspirated with the single plane manifolds I decided it was a good opportunity to go that route

Each pushrod actuates a single forked rocker arm which opens two valves at one time.

Not sure why the pics didn't come up for you unless your on a dial-up connection and then it may have timed out but this whole site would be brutually slow for anyone on a dial-up connection.

Thanks for the link

They are pretty nutty. After we put the heads on we all just kind of sat around and just starred at the thing. It's a different deal for sure. Expecting around 700+ hp naturally aspirated but ET's will be whatever the thing runs. It's more street car than anything else although the list of drivetrain parts says otherwise
