LT1 Intake for high HP

LT1 Intake for high HP I'm in the process of modifying two intakes for high HP LT1 engines. I'm thinking there's got to be a better way. Besides a stock intake and a sheet metal intake, are there any other choices?

I can't use a carb style intake, I need the keep the TB in the stock location.

If the throttle body needs to stay in the stock location you don't have really many choices other than what you see. You can add plenum volume to the stock intake but besides that, the real shortcomings are the extremely short runners. Without touching anything else I think it's really kind of a waste of time cause your not going to improve much on the stock design otherwise.

On one of the cars I might be able to raise the TB up 1- 2". If I do so should I lengthen the runners?
