I don't know if this applies to yours or not. I would only assume my97 shares the same components, but I could be wrong. I had a recall on my air pump and my egr valve.

There was also a steering wheel radio control wiring recall on my 95 along with the air pump and EGR.
TSB on driveshaft.

to get all these recalls done i just have to take it to a pontiac dealership correct? can i take it to GM also?

Yes, there is a service buletin about the A.I.R. pump and EGR valve on the 1996 models. I had the A.I.R. pump replaced, but there was nothing wrong with the EGR valve on my car. Any GM, Pontiac, Chevrolet, or GMC dealership can do the work.
