so you ended up going for the OFF ROAD Y? Or are you just gonna run it like that until you get the cats?

Is there anything wrong with the clamps that pacesetter provides? Is this why you are getting band clamps?

Im making it so that I can run without cats for 364 days of the year and run cats just for inspection. Theres nothing wrong with the provided clamps. I need band clamps because I am cutting the y-pipe and having it made so that it can have a slip fit with a cat on each sides and Im going to attach those slip fits together using band clamps. This way I can run straight pipes or cats just by unbolting and bolting up the clamps. The clamps they provide I will use for attaching my headers to y-pipe and y-pipe to flowmaster catback. Ill take more pics tomorrow and the next day.

I gave you the parts reqiured to make this a painless job. If you choose to not get the OVC wires and continue to burn yours off go ahead. If you ever wanna seperate the y-pipe from the headers again then get the band clamps also they won't leak like the ones they give you. If you don't have soldering tools and shrink tube to splice wires then get O2 extensions otherwise you'll have problems. If you wanna cheap out and have to fix something every week until you do get the parts I listed then have fun. I like to do things right the first time myself.

You don't need the OVC wires. I have the regular MSD wires and there's no problem using them. Just make sure you line them up properly and tie back a couple of them and you won't have any problems. Definitely get the band clamps and O2 extenstions.

Oh, and Stealth, you're going to need to get your car a lot higher than that to get the headers in from underneath. And it looks like your jack is way to short to get it high enough so plan on getting another jack or something safe to put under the jack or on the jack plate for extra height.

Darn I was hoping that was high enough. Well my dad and I didnt do any work today and I work tomorow I dunno when this will continue ahhhh.
BTW:Red95LT1 If you are going to run the ORY with and without cats you will need 4 bandclamps and 3 more if you decide to use bandclamps for the connection between the headers and y-pipe and y-pipe and catback. For plugs get NGK tr-55's.

You should just have the cats welded in and then u will still need 3 bandclamps to replace pacesetters provided hardware. You will need 4 more clamps if u dont weld the cats in. About 02 extension length i have no clue and would like to know the same.

You can probably get by with getting the 12" O2 extensions. I got the 24" extensions and it's way too long for the driver's side but with the auto trans I wanted to zip tie the O2 extension to the cooler lines on the passenger side to make sure it didn't get too close to the header so the 24" was better but still longer than it needed to be.

Hmmm, I don't see the 12" extenion on Jegs. But you want the 4 wire flat 12" extension(2 of them) for the front O2's. Does your 95 have the rear O2's(some 95's did)? If you do, then you really want the 4 wire square O2 sims to fool the computer. You could put the O2's back in, but the cats will be so far back that they might not function correctly and therefore running the rear O2's could trigger a SES code. So I got the sims. Caspers Electronics makes the O2 extensions and the O2 sims so do some searches for them. I got some new sims off Ebay for 1/2 price.

Summit has the 4 wire flat extension part # CEI-109010 for $21.95
