usually set at 42 with car off, then at idle, like said, around 39.

technically it's supposed to be +/- 2 psi from 43.5 at Key On Engine Off and drop anywhere from 3-8 psi at idle.

my 94 had 41-42 psi at KOEO and 35-37 at idle.

Mine is retarted. It's like 34-37 with key on and car started, and 42 with car started with vacuum off. I loose like 4lbs of pressure at WOT. Time for a new pump

it should be the same at KOEO as it is at WOT and idle if you pull the vacuum line off the regulator.

u saying it's just not able to keep the pressure up at WOT?

Nope at WOT pressure starts to drop. with KOEO it gets no where near 42psi (where it usually is at idle with vacuum off) and at WOT it drops off about 4lbs. I thought at first maybe 12K miles was too much on the fuel filter, so I changed it out, and it was the same. I think the 155k mile fuel pump is getting old.
