Scattershield?
I used the McLeod LS1 SFI bellhousing and had my input shaft shortened, used a viper front plate on the trans and an LS1 throwout bearing. McLeod makes a braided hydraulic line that adapts the LS1 hydraulics to the LT1 master. Next I used a twin disc McLeod from a standard 1986 and newer, one piece seal clutch assembly that is a conventional push style to mate with the LS1 throwout. The trans will sit about 1/2" further forward so a little massaging of the tunnel opening for the shifter is required. The driveshaft may also need to be lengthened.
I did it because I was having a new trans built by G-force and had the opportunity to make the changes at that point but if you're going fast and keeping a T-56 type trans, it's necessary in my opinion. Not just from a tech standpoint but from a keeping your lower limbs should anything come apart standpoint.
