Default 1/4" line sufficient for stand alone fuel system?

OK I took everyone's advice and am going to go stand alone on my nitrous. I found a cell that's perfect in size but it has a 1/4" barb fitting. Will this be big enough for flow for a 250 shot? I am assuming yes but I wanna make sure. I posted this in the nitrous section but it's a very slow forum.

Most of the shelve kits come with this size (4AN), but for that amount of power I'd go with 3/8" or 6AN

You can take that barb fitting out and screw in a -4 or -6 fitting.

Is a return necessary?

Not necessary but I have seen people drill a hole in the top of the regulator and tap for a small -3 fitting and run a return line from there back to the fuel cell.

I would ask NXRicky if I were you on this one.

Well the regulator I got already has a return on it but the Jr. dragster cell doesn't. I could plug the return on it if I don't need it. I'll PM him and see what he things.
