Porting
How hard is this to do?
(do any water jackets run near the ports? if so where? Problem areas?)
What is this worth in terms of hp/tq increase?
Do I port the ports the same width and height all the way in or only part way?
The guide I looked at made it seem really easy as long as you go slow and take your time. I have some experience working metal as well as the help of an engineer on my side so I am not going into this blind and I AM fully aware of the consequences if I screw up.
I would love some advice from anyone who has done this before. Even if it is only like 15hp I still want to do it but only post #'s if it is an EDUCATED guess not just a made up figure.

By not taking out more do you mean go beyond the gasket scratches? How far into the port did you go and was it the same diameter all the way in?
Did you do any other porting to the heads or just the gasket matching? Did you port the intake as well? Why isn't your car working (not due to the head port I hope)?
