Get some long tubes on it, they have them with smog fittings, far as CARB crap goes, I dont know what to say.

do you have a way to monitor the knock retard?
28 degrees of timing is kind of low. most boosted motors run more then that

yeah i have tts datamaster and i wasnt getting any knock retard but total timing was 32-33 and it was pulling 5-7 degrees out with no knock counts which puts me around 28 degrees what gives???

5-7 degree can make a pretty big difference.
im guessing 91 is the highest you can get? you might want to try and put a couple gallons of unleaded race gas in it to see if the knock goes away.

once the timing gets back in there, it might even help lean it out a little

yeah 91 is it around here and im running a Cat also ill maybe put some more timing in it before i try to lean it out BTW im not getting any knock counts at all but its still pulling timing also when it was on the dyno the dyno operator pulled one of my O2's and left it plugged in but dangling and said i didnt need it in there because i WOT it goes into open loop well according to my datalog it stayed in closed the whole time

yeah what i was saying is once the knock retard goes away the added timing will probably lean it out on its own. at least the what i've noticed on my car

i wouldnt add more timing till you figure out if your knock is real or false

The datalog will still show closed loop because the flag that the computer sets when it goes into closed loop is not changed. So it doesn't technically go into open loop but it's basically the same thing as the O2 readings are not used (unless it was lean on entering WOT).

Did you get any miss along with your knock retard? I think it's accepted that there is a loss of timing somewhere in the LT1 PCM. I would give it a few more degrees up top and get my timing somewhere around mid to high 30's. Edelbrock catback is killing ya too. I would get some cutouts behind each header. Also cam is a little small for those heads (which are flowing nicely btw). I'm no engineer but your dynamic compression ratio is probably a little off considering your static compression is high but your cam is small. Steel flywheel and d/s cost a little as well.
