BTW, another good reason to run sequential is when running large injectors to help with the idle quality. I have 160lbs. injectors on my 598 and want to run the sequential for that purpose. Other than that I'd run the batch since i't a drag car.

TY TECH PERFORMANCE in Tenn. is doing the all of the work. I beleive my Big Suff came with the Cam sensor. Also the Big stuff utilizes speed density and makes it easier to tune. Batch is good but when running multiple stages of NOS and changes of timing when making a pass, the sequential I feel works better. I will find out what he modified on the distributor because I am not 100 percent sure.

I know this thread is 3 months old, but...

The Cam postion sensor they like to use on out LTx motors for BigStuff is actually a GM part. It sits in the same position a distributor would, its basically a distributor shaft assemebly but with a CPS instead of a cap and rotor on top.
Im not too clear how they do the crank trigger, but I know its not a 4 notch deal like the MSD stuff... It has a notch per degree of crank revolution, I think, or at least something like that(greater than 4 notches). Maybe someone else will chime in here.

Ive just recently noticed that FAST XFI can plug directly into a GM opti, but will it run the system in sequential with an opti?

Yes you can run sequential with the opti and a FAST XFI.

Then that would be the easiest route to aftermarket stand-alone management for us LT1 guys. Keep sequential injection, and not have to adapt all kinds of exotic parts. Plus with the MSD opti out, the durability problems should pretty much be a thing of the past.
