I finally took some leave from work and finished my install. It runs pretty darn good, it fired right up with the mail order (Bryan Herter tune) I need to get it dialed in.

The heads looked so good I hated installing the intake and headers!
Here is a little more auto ****.

When it's back together it looks like it did before the install

I don't go to the track. With all of the new high powered family cars/trucks/SUVs (check out the Jeep SRT8) stock LT1 performance is not very impressive. As a civic minded individual I modified my car for public safety; since I may need this power so that I don't become an impediment to traffic.
That's my story and I am sticking to it!

My Dad always asks what that will do to my milage and is shocked when my cammed/stalled/geared whale of a car still knocks down over 20mpg highway. Never mind the fact when he was my age I remeber him haveing a Chevelle that needed a few engines a year he abused them so badly.

Just be honest everyone has a hobby, likely an expensive one the next guy thinks is a waste of time and money. A coworker was giving me crap about the car one day at break and in front of everyone I told him he spends more on cigarettes and drinking than I do on my car everyone laughed, never heard another negative word from him.
