All I noticed was imaturity. The guy made a statement and was wrong. We corrected him. No one said anything about ls1's beating lt1's or anything of the sort. If this turns into an ls1 >< lt1 thread it will be locked. I don't think by saying the lt1 has more torque and then showing that it doesn't is an ls1-lt1 thread.

Screw this bitching... Both motors are good motors, they will treat you just as well as you treat them, the ls1 is faster stock, DONE, mod for mod, the ls1 will prolly edge out a bit, but as more mods are added, it going to become a drivers race.... The ONLY thing the lt1 has over the ls1, stock this is, is the sound!

Welcome

Go VTEC! o ****...

Its all personal opinion.
Obviously a newer car will have better tech.

Buy get what you want because you like it.
Color, options, wheels, interior..etc

If you want a racer, buy a Fiero and Jam a Shafiroff 706 Big Chief Engine in it with the biggest slicks and a 500 shot!

Ohhh f*ck yeah!!

As originally stated, yes the ls1 makes more torque everywhere. End of argument.

But back to the original thread topic, whether you drive an lt1 or ls1, you are definitely welcome here and you made the right choice by not buying a civic.

With some of the threads you read in here, you'd think we owned mustangs instead of lt1s.

There is always gonna be a newer better motor every few years. The lt1 is great the ls1 is better the ls2 is better than that the ls6 is better too but the ls7 will spank them all. Big deal Nothing is king of the road forever. As long as it's a v8 and has ***** I'm happy.
