What Kind of Header Gaskets are you guys running?
I currently have long tube pacesetters on some AFR heads. The questions is that I wanted to know what kind of headers are you guys running because my keep blowing out. I have percy's, fel-pro, mr. gasket.

I've been using these Earl's Pressure Master gaskets for a while now on my blown 383 and they are holding up well. You can also get replacement inserts. They are easy to trim, too, because the sealing portion is pure graphite. Here's the D-ports that fit the LT1:
They have not been coming loose either. Summit carries them. Not too expensive. I like the Felpros too, but they are almost impossible to trim cleanly if you've done any port work.
I'm using the larger D-port version with ported Edelbrock E-TEC 200s. They needed a little trimming at the top of the ports, and a new Exacto blade works great.

I have tried the Felpros, but they seem to blow out around 6k RPM. Currently I'm using percy's but starting to leak a little. I think that it's my headers (pacesetters). I heard lot of people have header leaks with this headers. Has anyone heard bout this.
Thanks for your replies guys.

I used the headers that came with the kit, but when on the dyno it blew the one on the passenger side ever since I've been having problems with that side. don't know if the 396 stroker making a difference, but can't find the right one's for pacesetter and AFR ported heads.
