I'm glad to see that you guys want to come. 95z6spd, if you can run better than a 12.5, you've pretty much got it in the bag. Last years winner won with a best of 12.54. Since then, I think it's been a 12.49 or so. I was hoping to compete, but I spun a bearing, sold my rolling chassis and now I'm helping out friends who are competing. Shon, I hope you can make the summer event. July 8th. Can't wait to see some 11s in this class.

Let me know if you decide on the TH350 and 4k stall. I've got a PTC 4000 stall with less than 250 miles on it. It's no good to me now that I have no Z to put it in.

I can tell ya that this car I got will not be running for any 11s in the hot air of July. I would be this car would be 3-4tenths slower in the heat. But one thing is for sure, we all would be slower!

I really do not see me getting up there July, here at work that is my busiest time of the year plus family vacation starts that next weekend so my time will be here at work preparring for my week off.....FUN!

I've found out that with Shon's car, its more like the race is won in the first 330 feet. We've cut a 1.53 60 foot in Shon's car, but it was slower to the 330 than the run where it spun to a 1.59 60 foot.

I'll tell everyone right now Shon's car will go 11.8's with stock rockers on. The 11.80 pass from a couple weeks ago was an unusually poor pass on my part. When we put the rockers on the car, it went faster yes. But the weather was much better then as well. When evened out in correction factoring, the rockers along with the EWP were worth less than a tenth.

I didn't see much gain if any going from 1.5 rockers to 1.7's. It's hard to say though since the tranny was different. I ran a 12.042 before the rockers. Concentrate on the 60-ft times. You should get them down to 1.6X or even 1.5's.

Here is the deal. As soon as we get the car down to the LS1 M6 area (11.54) we will put the stock rockers on there and give it a shot and let the numbers tell ya what they are worth.

Sound like a plan? You know we are only .25 from that...and the 11.80 pass was not the cleanest run...it had issues.....NOTE: this car has not seen a WBO2 yet, what you think it will pick up with the right mixture? There is more weight to be removed....

Stay tuned.

Shon, From your trap speed I'd say you've got another 15-20hp in there at least. The A4 has more parasitic losses. I'm finished with the "bolton wars" but I'd like to see you hit some mid 11's and I know it can be done.

Roadtrip used to be the holder, but not now, LOL. He beat my 11.897 pass with a 11.891 pass. But I think he is going with an LE package now so I am in the game all alone.

Sounds like its gonna be a good event. I look forward to seeing everyone there and sounds like it will be pretty competitive. I'd like to get some more weight off of my car but I doubt I 'll be doing that before this event. I have some more plans for my car this sumer but not sure exactly what direction I wanna go. I'd like to just get the TOTALLY stock intternal 6spd NA recod first which is 12.48...Then maybe I'll go with rockers, tuner cat, in car wideband, remove weight etc...My raceweight is still 3505

C'mon! I was so hoping to check it out since the last time I saw it at Darlington like 3 years ago. Maybe you can bring it to F-body Week at Myrtle Beach. I'll be there from the 15th-20th. I hope to see you there.

LT1 touched by the hand of GOD first (LS1 touched 2nd) I know I'm a little bit out of this with my 3 year old ET (12.61 @ 109), but I think I might be able to get into the game for low 12's with good track prep/altitude with the PCM tune, cut-out and 1 or 2 other tricks since 3 years ago !. I truly believe the car has a 12.30, maybe a 12.20 @ 110 to 112 mph. We'll see this summer, everything has finally come together.......
