need some help with some problems i am unsure of what is going wrong maybee some one could help me out if i can describe the problem but it is like it runs out of fuel or looses ignition it dont do it all the time and is mostly while just at a steedy rpm then ecelerate slowly it will just fall like you cut the switch off if you pick up off the gas pedal it stops almost like the fuel drowns the engine out and if you pat the gas when it does it some times you can here it pop back through the intake it has completly shut off once before but i t started right back up i have already repl the opti,coil,and wires and plugs the fuel pump is haolding a steedy 43.5 i instaled it probly last year its the walbro 255 oh andthe check engine light doesnt come on any sugestions will be great if you have any thanks
I have the same problem right now also. My local mechanic has not figured out what the deal is yet though. Not much $ for them to keep looking for the prob. so if anyone has any ideas please chime in

I have the same problem at the moment,it quit doing it for about a week now its starting to do it again,sometimes it does it while going down the road.Also sometimes while Im driving it will just lose power, the motor will still be running tach will still be working and all,Feels identical to a car that has hit its speed limiter.Also when it dies at idle sometimes its hard to crank but if I let it sit for about 10 seconds or so and let the fuel pump kick on it will start up just fine.

I used to have a 93 Trans Am that this exact same problem happened on. I replaced what they called a ignition control module. It is right above the coil pack. Its the sensor that has a plug going to it. I got mine at autozone for 40 bucks. I hope this helps.
Nope just put one on and it did NOT work. But now instead of compleatly cutting out it only sounds like a couple of the cylinders are cutting out now. Not going to mess with it anymore tonight.
