Can you use the paperclip trick on 97 TA. I've seen posts about doing it on an LT1, but the ALDL looks different. The A and B terminals aren't used.

No. I thought that was a obd1 trick that only worked on 93's?

It's when you stick both ends of a paperclip or anything that with complete the circuit between the A and B temrinals on the ALDL under the dash. Then turn the key without starting and the SRS light will flash so many times and give you any codes the ECU has stored.
