I know the NGK-TR6 plugs are gapped at 0.035 and are meant for nitrous or F.I. I'm willing to be 0.035 will work for TR55-IX's as well, seeing as many places sell them pre-gapped to that.

when I bought them they were gaped over .50

Should I switch do a different plug or just use these. I heard they were good for nitrous but is there a better plug I can use?

I would recommend the TR6, Thunder Racing sells them and bunch of other options you might be interested in.

I use TR-6 with FI gapped @ .045. but I also have an MSD coil and Mallory Hy-Fire Vi box

Never assume the gaps are correct no matter how many times they tell you they are pregapped. Its cheap insurance to check yourself before installing them. Especially with nitrous or FI, you really dont want a plug to not light off because the gap is too big when you in boost or in the juice. If you have a stock ignition I would stick with .035 with the juice and use the TR-6
