If its idling and running ok, you're probably going to be allright. You may have gotten some of the electrical components wet and that's what stalled your engine and threw the code. If you had a major amount of water ingested you probably would have hydraulic locked your engine, which did not happen. I'd pull the codes and see what really stalled it then I'd check the oil for water and if everything checked out I'd continue to drive it.

I would run the car a little longer if it has stopped raining. With a puddle like that it may cause a problem with the opti.

happend to me too.

When it happens dont try to start/stop the car just leave it on so the compression and heat will get the water out of the cylinders.

I hate driving the Camaro in the rain. I got hit and run by some guy cause he couldn't handle his car in the rain, left me a nice dent on my Quarter Panel.

Driving in the rain is child's play. I hate all the Assclowns in the SUVs/Trucks and other assorted urban assault vehicles that think they're bullet proof in the snow, when I am out and about in my Vette. (Its my DD)

mike 1500- What kind of hood is that? Stock, suncoast etc.. My old suncoast hood had a baffle in it that stopped the water but I cut it out and never had a problem and it was a daily driver.

Dont take this the wrong way bro, but I wouldn't take a Vette in the snow. I know you got to do what you got to do, but I would buy a shitty truck for that. I am from NY, where I was, a Vette wouldn't make it out the Garage.
