I guess it depends on where you go shopping for your Gears. I pulled my 3.73's out of a S-10, so I needed a Series 3 Carrier to fit them.

well, it jsut depends on the carrier.. i have heard of people using 3 series gears on a 2 series carrier... but i wouldnt ever think of it.. im sure it took alot of work for them to be right...

right, because those were the standard 3 series gears. Those will not fit the 2 series but you can get the thicker ones that wil.

Yea, you can get anything anywhere..
I just like to know the shortcuts, they come in handy, and if you know what you want, most of the time you can find it in a wrecked car, even if it's not a F-body.
