and this 300 rwhp is with not just from longtubes alone, read above and you'll see other things i gotta fix up that'll deff change my #'s

well, i got the email from TSP today, longtubes and ory should arrive this coming monday. I also just ordered a lt4 km from a gm site.

ill be sure to update later on my progress
A knock module is only going to help if you are getting false know. You need a tune too, longtubes wont gain you much without a tune, I know I didnt really feel them until I got a mail order tune.

My experience is the LT1 gets heat soaked. The first run should be the best run (highest #'s). Next time run 4th gear for the first run. That plus the KR that you pobably are getting is hurting your numbers.

I'll bet u I can make a 1996 WS.6 m6 put down 300rwhp without headers and only bolt-ons!! And those numbers are very low. Ws.6 Lt1's with just cat-backs put 285rwhp! Call up Anti-Venom in FL and ask them!!

Sounds like a bet. Keep us up on that ****. As Big John MCarthy would say, "Let's get it on!"

Yeah... I have a whole lot of spare time and I have a bunch of bolt ons collecting dust.

And what would I want with an LS1 anyway?

i think the cc306 cam with 1.6 rr. he's putting a dual 58 TB on there, swaping the cam(don't know what cam yet) electric waterpump and a 100/dry. the car pulls like a SOB. forgot he also is running midlength's

Definately call PCMforless and get a tune. It was one of the best mods I have done.

Thats by far the best advice I have ever seen on this site yet.....

That is correct. Hawks were rated at 315, 15 higher than a WS6 I think. My SS was rated at 310 with the optional low restriction exhaust. Dyno numbers in the sig, bone stock with paper filter and all and about 8k on the odo. Not real impressive, but it looked good on the rollers.
