Default Head And Cam Help!!

Ok...i was reading about matching your heads with your cam....and was gonna keep my stock heads, just clean them up and port+polish them lightly myself (basically stock). How do i go about choosing a cam to match it? What numbers do i need to look at or look for to get my setup right? this is going to be a daily driver btw, thats why im trying to get it done right.

Thanks in advance!!

The baby crane cam, some of the other smaller comps.

What are some dyno numbers for that baby crane cam or the 305? I was considering the 305...but wanted to see all my options before i got a cam.

I went with something closer to the 305, little bigger. I'm hoping for around 340 at the wheels with a really broad torque band. I'll let you know. There's a dyno archive in here as well. Check that out.

EDIT: With a bigger cam, you'll gain a lot more if you ever do the heads.
