7200rpms is the only real limit you have to worry about everything else can be dealt with

I have also noticed that the stock PCM can not keep up with the rapid rate of RPM increase. It lags behind and can not keep up if you are reving really fast.

In what way? Fuel & Timing? Thats not good if thats the case. and how fast are we talking. Must be real fast.

Mine dosn't rev fast by any means but with a 10" verter and LTs and such its alot faster then stock.

It really will not matter unless you are above say 700 hp. You can mainly notice on an unloaded dyno. It will not do it as bad with a load but I can still notice it.

I always was under the impression anything over 7200rpm would use the 7200rpm cell values. If you spun to 7500-7700 I dont see how the fueling and timing would be much different than 7200. I know the rev limits go WELL past 7200... Maybe someone can chime in on this.

Another limitation comes when you start playing with boost... No 2 or 3bar MAP sensors for us LT1 guys, so were stuck BSing through the programming to make sure it fuels correctly for the boost. Then with changes in weather we get changes in performance that an N/A motor'd car wouldnt have issues with.

That is correct it should but the pcm has an injector cut-off. It cuts off the injectors at 7200 rpms. Nothing we can do about it. If that would not happen then yes the values would be the same in those tables.
