Calling on all B-Body Guys!
Hey guys, My neighbors LT1 in her Caprice is all funky with the hose routing.
From the tank where the coolant goes.
The box is like this
AS YOU CAN SEE the line on the rear there has BOLT tied in and also RTV'ed in.
And this junction doesnt look right either..
Can anyone show me a picture of how these hoses are supposed to go with/or a diagram?

I can post a pic tomorrow.
The two hoses on the coolant tank tell me this is a 94 or early 95, one is for the TB coolant circuit one is supposed to go to the radiator. I would guess the radiator was replaced with one that lacked that provision so they just plugged that hose, I see no problem with doing so I would just do a cleaner job of it.
The "T" seems to have been used to bypass the heater core, that "T" belongs in one of the heater lines and does connect to the coolant tank as it is.
BTW that is a smaller than stock alternator, will work fine as it is still 105 amp, just another piece someone "played" with.
Would have answered sooner but was out racing 12.7-8 in the heat.

Here is basically what it should look like. The "T" is at the yellow spring clamp by the alternator and this is the alternator an LT1 b-body or even an L99 9C1 should have, those green hoses are a 9C1(cop car) thing and are silicon "life of the vehicle" hoses.
On my car the metal radiator hose is because this was a tow package car and had a mechanical fan which I replaced with electric.
You can also see I have done the TB bypass which is a modification of the small coolant line routing. The wet spot under the car is not a fluid leak we had a downpour. This is my 198K mile Roady wagon.
You can also see the hockeypuck I used to plug the hole left by removing "home plate".
Just below(in the pic) the dipstick by the coolant flush cap(aftermarket) there is supposed to be a restrictor in the heater line that does not have the "T" this is to limit pressure/flow to the heater core, mine is there it is just blocked by the strap around the AC parts.
