Default What is this? The wires are burnt off!

So I look under my hood today and I see that these wires are like burnt off...You can see the insides of them, and the outer part of them is just completely gone...What is this, and how the hell do I just replace it? The wires that are protected seem to be wrapped up and binded together, how would I replace it? It's the part where I circled.

That's the solenoid valve that allows fumes from the charcoal canister to purge into the intake plenum. It's really easy to remove and re-install. The harness simply plugs into it and the hoses slip on. The only tricky part is figuring out the size of the 7 mm bolt under it that holds it to the intake manifold.

How much would it be for a new one? Or can I just replace the wires?

My guess is that the wires are burnt up because there's something wrong with it, like an internal short. Get a new one at the dealership.
