Hey

Posting for a Friend...

He has a 95 trans am.....He Has a Cam,Jet hot Lt's, Cat-back, cold air intake...and he is asking is it Safe to get a
AFR hydra rev kit?

btw its a Daily Driver

I have no problems with mine, Don't really need them just get a good set of springs i.e some comp beehives.

which tool do you use to install the hydra rev kit with the heads on the car?? sorry for the thread hi-jack...

I think a few guys havent had the greatest luck with them. Ask TwoFast4luv, his experience with it wasn't good.

The Hydra-Rev kit was design to control the valvetrain from valve float in the higher rpm.
Personally, I would just upgrade to a set of better valvesprings/rockers. I would also swap from 3/8" to 7/16" studs. Just my 02.
