28lbs maxed out, 97% DC in hot weather come fall they would go over 100% but will correct it by then, with the AI heads/cam combo. After this experiance for even just heads and cam I would say don't bother with anything less than 36lbs, boost you want even more lbs per hp because they are tuned richer.

SVO 30lb'ers with less than 2000 miles on them, bought them last year when I had my cc306 and LE2 heads, now with my new combo they max out I now need to get some 42lb'ers, I should have just decided to spend then extra $$$ last year and got 42lb's. Oh well, you live and learn.

You must be well over 600 at the wheels. RC Engineering has some 72lb high impedance injectors that will plug right in. I tuned a speed density, blown 383" LT1 Vette recently with a set of those. The bigger injectors won't hurt your part throttle fuel econmy if your tuner knows what he/she is doing. Don't bet the farm on the duty cycle you see on a scan tool. That is a calculation, not actual measurement. It is often way off. If your not well over 600 rwhp, I would verify the duty cycle on the dyno with a lab 'scope first.

Good luck, Ed

The car is going back to the dyno after the front mount intecooler and the bitgger injector are installed. The boost is going to be turned up a little more also.
Im not sure what hp it was making at 11psi. But the car made on the dyno 400hp and a little more tq with only 2lbs of boost(clamp on exhaust blew off had to go back to shop to get welded)

My guess would be that it was(will be) in the mid 500s AT 11psi. So u may be right that the calcualtion is off some. However i do plan on cranking up the boost even more in the future so the bigger injectors will be needed eventualy. Thanks for the heads up

I forgot to mention that the car has a fast efi system to tune the car. I dont know if thoes calculations with them are know to be off often?? I know that the tunner said that all the numbers matched what the dyno was seeing.. anyways ill have more info on all of this soon

I run either stock or Ford 24lb injectors at 50 PSI. Good for 10.50's in a 3200lb N/A car.
